All-Access ADA Trail

The Anne Springs Close Greenway boasts over 40 miles of natural surface trails, but only a few miles of ADA and stroller friendly surfaces. A new All-Access Trail planned near the Greenway Gateway will provide an estimated additional one mile of all-weather hard surface. It will provide a path for those who are wheelchair or stroller dependent, working through physical rehabilitation, looking to increase stamina and endurance, as well as to enjoy the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of the area. Abundant wildlife and birdwatching, along with native wildflowers, will be explored along this smooth, scenic trail, meandering from the Greenway Gateway through the historic Nation Ford Road corridor and among hardwood trees and other habitats.
